The property was spotlessly clean. Staff was very amiable. Breakfast was big and superb. We were in a nice location not very far from Three Kings Monument. There was a big restaurant, a night market, and a bazaar next door. Liked English bar and its warm drinks. The service was great. The food was good.

The location is great to all the sites in the old town, walking distance to a national park and a temple. It has nice and courteous staff and helpful services.

Well-maintained room with 1 extra bed from 21 to 24 dec and big breakfast. Had excellent complimentary Wi-Fi, a TV, and a safe box. Excellent location to a regal cultural museum. The staff - helpful and thoughtful...

A little small bathroom, a little uncomfortable room.

The rooms are spotless and come with an additional bed from the 21st to the 24th of December, and the staff is friendly and attentive.

Friendly staff. They let us use their bicycles. Rooms are nice and big. The ones with a balcony are especially nice.

Proprietor Sam says he used to be a traveling agri-chemicals executive, has stayed at a lot of hotels, and therefore knows what a good one should be like. He isn't boasting. Sawasdee Chiangmai is the best boutique hotel I've stayed in by far, not least because Sam and his niece Mo are genuinely friendly and sincere in making the right recommendations for you to enjoy and stay. Rooms are spacious and nicely furnished, and everything from tours to laundry to scooter can be arranged by them, at very good rates and from vendors with good service!

Mosquitoes down at the cafe are huge, but so is everywhere else in Chiangmai. Front row deluxe rooms faces a school, and in the mornings you can hear the principal's assembly speech, so if you are a light sleeper like me go for standard rooms behind.

Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff , good tips for activities, comfortable room with nice decorative touch, accommodating with room change and late check-out.

Nothing, everything was great.

We loved everything about it: the location, the staff, the services, etc.. Sam and his team were super helpful, funny and warm. It felt like we were staying with family/friends! Big rooms, free breakfast, Wifi was great, free bikes to wander the city was amazing and the info the provide was extremely useful. Was a fabulous and totally carefree! We hope to go back soon :)

The owners and staff concern for customers

Not about the hotel, but its direct environment: Noisy morning school with loudspeaker from 7.30. (and Dogs shouting at 6.30). Difficult to find the hotel by night.

The rooms here are newly renovated, air-conditioned, and come with a private bathroom, an additional bed from the 21st to the 24th of December, all in a quiet and ideal location just 1 km away from a beautiful temple.

Spacious room and bathroom. Very clean. The wifi signal was correct. The staff helped us to get a cooking class.

Can't really think of anything. Just not my cup of tea.

Dun expect any staff except security to be around after 9pm. If you are doing late checkin expect security to just pass you key n you can't enquire anything unless you speak Thai. Wifi password also did not work until fixed next Monday. Not recommended for family with kids or babies. There's also no car park or compound; just a small dark alley with graffiti. For the same price you can get much better deal elsewhere.

I had a lovely stay at this hotel in Chiangmai. The rooms were clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated with wood furniture. The staff were very kind and helpful, providing us with good information about the city. The hotel's location was in a quiet area, yet still within walking distance of many attractions. The coffee shop in the nice little garden area served a delicious breakfast with muesli at 9.40am.

All was more than ok during my stay.
